Watching: Heartstopper Forever

I’m watching the film finale to Alice Oseman’s screen adaptation of Heartstopper. It’s quite lovely of course - some issues with the compression of a lot of material into only about 110 minutes but her cast has this and the direction is better than in season 2. Kit and Joe are disarmingly good, they’re far better actors than they began as, and I love how much scope they’re given to be the Nick and Charlie they are. Their chemistry is off the scales brilliant, and Yasmin Finney’s role as Elle is more poignant than ever. Bravo! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈
